AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM

1, The function of a hot preheater in corrugated line:
The preheating cylinder is mainly used for preheating the inner paper and corrugated paper during the production of single face corrugated machines and multi-layers of preheater for the 2ply and face paper preheating before entering the double facer. It is located between the MRS and the single facer corrugated machine or Bridge and Glue machine. The paper can be preheated to obtain an appropriate moisture content and stretched for the paper fiber, which is beneficial for subsequent corrugated flute forming and bonding.

2, Composition and structure of hot Pre-heater
The preheating cylinder consists of a hot cylinder, a fixed paper guide roller, a floating paper guide roller, a steam system, temperature sensors and steam valves, an electrical control system, etc. The floating paper guide roller is driven by a motor and can rotate around the periphery of the heat cylinder, thereby adjusting the wrapping angle of the paper around the heat cylinder and changing the heating area of the paper.

3, Operating specifications for hot Preheaters
Pre startup inspection: Before starting up, carefully inspect the hot cylinder machine and its surrounding equipment to ensure that there are no debris and clean them thoroughly. At the same time, check whether the steam system is operating normally and whether the electrical control system is sensitive and reliable.
Adjust the wrapping angle: Adjust the wrapping angle of the preheating cylinder appropriately according to the different moisture content of the base paper and process requirements. This can be achieved by adjusting the position of the floating paper guide roller.
Temperature setting: The working temperature of the preheating cylinder is usually within a certain range (such as 160-180 ℃), and the specific temperature should be set according to production needs and paper characteristics. When adjusting, hold down the button on the control box and gradually adjust to the desired position.
Paper threading operation: During the paper threading process, it is necessary to ensure that the paper passes smoothly through the preheating cylinder, avoiding the paper from being folded or blocked at the preheating cylinder. At the same time, operators should wear gloves to prevent burns from the high-temperature preheating cylinder.
Quality monitoring: During the production process, the quality of the cardboard should be monitored at all times, including the bonding, flatness, and corrugated forming of the cardboard. If quality problems are found, the parameters such as the wrap angle and temperature of the preheating cylinder should be adjusted in a timely manner.

4, Safety precautions for hot Preheaters
Avoid burns: The preheating cylinder operates at a high temperature, and operators should avoid direct contact with the surface of the preheating cylinder to prevent burns. When wearing paper or adjusting equipment, protective equipment such as gloves and goggles should be worn.
Preventing pinch injuries: During operation, attention should be paid to avoiding hands or other parts being caught in the machine and causing pinch injuries. Especially when threading paper and debugging equipment, caution should be exercised to ensure safety.
Pay attention to electrical safety: The electrical control system of the preheating cylinder should be regularly inspected and maintained to ensure the normal operation and safety of the electrical equipment. During the operation, contact with live parts should be avoided to prevent electric shock accidents.

5, Maintenance and upkeep of Preheaters
Regular cleaning: Regularly clean the preheating cylinder and its surrounding debris and dust to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the equipment.
Check for wear: Regularly inspect the wear of the preheating cylinder, including the wear level of the cylinder surface, floating paper guide roller, fixed paper guide roller, and other components. If severe wear is found, it should be replaced or repaired in a timely manner.
Lubrication and maintenance: Regularly lubricate and maintain the transmission parts and bearings of the preheating cylinder to ensure the normal operation of the equipment and extend its service life.
